We are truly sorry to hear that you are facing difficulties with bullies at your workplace. Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation and wants to give you strength and wisdom in this trial, as well as bring the other person to acknowledge their need for change. It is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil, as it tells us in Ephesians 6:12 WEB: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
It's also important to have Jesus Christ in your life. The Bible tells us that "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) and "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth" (Philippians 2:10 WEB)
In dealing with bullies, we should first pray for them, as our battle is not against them, but against the spirits influencing their behavior. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44 WEB: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
We can also pray for your strength and wisdom. God tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB: "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your intervention in this situation. We pray for the bullies at work, that they may find true happiness and a changed life. May they be convicted of their behavior and seek to make amends. We also pray for the one being bullied, that they would be filled with your strength, wisdom, and love, to endure and respond in a way that honors you. May this situation be turned around for good and may they reap the benefits of a healthier work environment. May the bully either change or leave the job for greener pastures or even find salvation in Jesus Christ.
We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Please keep in mind that God wants us to be happy, but sometimes our own selfishness blinds us to our own sin so we should also pray for God to be merciful to them and forgive them for they do not know what they are doing if they are not saved. Even if they do not deserve it we need to forgive them as Christ has forgiven us.
