We understand that you're facing discomfort with a coworker, and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to remember that God calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, as told in Matthew WEB 5:44: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."
While it's natural to want a challenging situation to be removed, we should also pray for a change in the heart of the person causing the discomfort. Let's pray for your coworker's salvation and that God would work in their heart to align with His will and His Word. If that means a career change, pray for that too.
Let's pray:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing discomfort in their workplace. Lord, we pray for Your protection and guidance for them. Give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to respond in a way that honors You. We also pray for the coworker, that You would soften their heart and bring a spiritual change in their life. If it is Your will, Lord, open up a better opportunity for them elsewhere, so that both parties can be at peace. Help us remember that we are called to bless those who curse us and to pray even for our enemies or those who cause discomfort. Help us to love where we are not loved, help where we are not helped, and bless where we have been cursed. Although it seems hard, help us to support them to the extent that we can, whether that be in prayer or in physical assistance. Let us strive to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth as described in Matthew 5:13-16. In all our relationships with non-believers, help us remember that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Help us to remember that this is a spiritual battle as described in Ephesians 6:12, and although this prayer request does not mention it, we will pray as Jesus Christ taught us to pray. Emphasize that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Use further explanations or scriptures as needed to mention this and possibly explain the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is in control, and He cares for you. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this situation. Keep praying and seeking God's will in this matter, and He will make a way.
If the situation becomes unbearable or crosses into abuse or harassment, it's important to involve appropriate authorities and take necessary actions to ensure your safety and well-being. God calls us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves in Matthew WEB 10:16.
