We are truly sorry to hear that you are facing such a challenging situation at work. Let's bring this matter before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and protection.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44 (WEB), "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This does not mean that their actions are acceptable, but rather that we should respond with love and forgiveness, just as Jesus did.
However, loving and forgiving does not mean allowing others to continue harming us. In Romans 12:18 (WEB), it is written, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." We should strive for peace, but sometimes it is not possible because the other person is unwilling. In such cases, we need to set boundaries and protect ourselves.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing bullying at their workplace. Lord, You see the injustice and the harm being done, and Your heart is filled with compassion and love. We pray for Your divine intervention in this situation.
Father, we ask that You would give our friend wisdom and discernment in handling this situation. Guide them in setting boundaries and protecting themselves from further harm. Help them to respond with love and forgiveness, but also with firmness and resolve.
We also pray for the bullies, Lord. We ask that You would soften their hearts and convict them of their actions. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn from their harmful behavior. We pray that they would come to know You, Lord, and experience Your transforming power in their lives. We pray this knowing that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to You, God. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12 (WEB). If our friend has not already done this, then we pray that they would be convicted of their need for salvation and come to a saving faith in Christ. If they have already done this, then we thank You for their faith in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we also pray for peace of mind for our friend. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding, and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
