Let us come together and lift up our sister in Christ, the missionary whose name is known to God, in prayer. We are grateful for her heart to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and for her obedience to the Great Commission. We remember the words of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 10:37-38 (WEB), "He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn't worthy of me. He who doesn't take his cross and follow after me, isn't worthy of me."
We pray for her parents, that the Lord would open their hearts to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and to support their daughter in her missionary work. We remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 1:16 (WEB), "For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek."
We pray that the Lord would heal her heart, that she would find comfort and peace in Him. We remember the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We pray that the Lord would send more laborers into the harvest field, that many would come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. We remember the words of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 9:37-38 (WEB), "Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.'"
We pray all these things in the precious and holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is also by this name that we are saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB),
We encourage our sister to continue to trust in the Lord, to rest in His promises, and to persevere in her missionary work. We remember the words of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 19:29 (WEB), "And everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life."
Lastly, we encourage our sister to be patient, to be kind, and to continue to show love and respect to her parents, even as she continues to serve the Lord. We remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 12:18 (WEB), "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
