We are deeply concerned to hear about the spiritual bondage your younger brother is under. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this request in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy (Mark 16:17, WEB). We stand with you in prayer, believing that God is willing and able to deliver your brother from this witchcraft deception and worship.
Let us pray:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, claiming the promise in Your Word that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Acts 2:21, WEB). We ask You to have mercy on our brother and grant him repentance, leading to a knowledge of the truth so that he may escape from the devil's snare, having been held captive by him to do his will (2 Timothy 2:25-26, WEB).
We raise a standard against the enemy's entrapment, and we rebuke satan and his minion demons, commanding them to leave in Jesus' name (Luke 10:17, WEB). We ask You, Lord, to bind the strong man and plunder his house (Matthew 12:29, WEB), setting our brother free from over three decades of deception.
We also pray for his family, Lord, that You would heal and restore them, and that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth (John 16:13, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, dear one, as Jesus has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19, WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and continue to intercede for your brother, trusting that God is faithful to deliver him.
Remember the promise in 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the boldness which we have towards him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." Keep asking, and keep believing, for God is faithful.
