Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and faith, lifting up our dear brother or sister in Christ who seeks Your strength and guidance. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:13 that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We ask that You pour out Your mighty strength upon this beloved one, enabling a steadfast walk in the Spirit and a commitment to prayer and fasting.
Lord, we pray for Your divine protection over this individual, as You have promised in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." May Your presence be a constant shield, safeguarding from all harm.
We ask for edification and guidance, as You have said in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Illuminate the path ahead and provide wisdom in every decision.
Father, we also pray for the whole body of Christ. May Your Spirit move powerfully among Your people, speaking to hearts and minds, bringing unity and growth as stated in Ephesians 4:15-16, "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."
Lastly, Lord, we ask for Your comfort to envelop this dear one on every side. As You promised in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
