Let's join together in prayer for your brother, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. In moments like these, we remember the words of the Psalmist, "I will extol you, Lord, for you have lifted me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me. O Lord my God, I have cried to you for healing, and you have healed me."Work with Doctors is good, but it is the Lord who truly heals our bodies. We need to take all of our requests to the Great Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is facing health challenges after his open heart surgery. We thank you, Lord, for the medical team attending to him, and we ask that you guide their hands and give them wisdom in their decisions.
Lord, we pray for complete healing in his body. Touch his heart, strengthen his vital organs, and help him recover fully. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed. We trust in Jesus who is the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Jesus will never die and will come back to life again. All authority has been given to Jesus Christ in heaven and on earth.
Father, we also pray for comfort and strength for his family during this time. Help them to trust in you and to rest in your promises. We believe that this trial will draw them closer to you and that they will see your goodness and mercy through it all.
Lord Jesus, we ask that you would expedite his recovery so that he'll be able to go home. We may not be able to physically touch our brother to heal, but we believe your word assures us that you are there with him and he is in your hands. There is no distance in heaven and Earth to you, Lord. You hear our prayers and you know the hearts of us all. You see our brother in his hospital room as if you were standing there over him and you are answering our prayers right now.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We believe that you are working all things together for good.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
