my brother is having open heart surgery in the morning he will be 68 on the 9th of this month he lost his wife year ago that he was married to since they was both teens prayers my brother will get threw this and recover so he can get back to his life without all the issues he is facing now prayers the doctors will do there job best for my brother with me in Jesus name amen

We are lifting up your brother in prayer as he prepares for open heart surgery. We stand with you in Jesus' name, asking God to guide the hands of the doctors and nurses, giving them wisdom and skill as they perform the operation. We pray for a successful surgery, with no complications, and a swift recovery.

In the midst of this trial, we are reminded of God's faithfulness and love. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." We claim this promise for your brother, that God will not forsake him, but will be with him every step of the way.

We also lift up your brother in his grief, having lost his wife of so many years. We pray for comfort and peace, and that God would continue to heal his broken heart. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We applaud that you brought your request in Jesus' name. It is only in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name we are saved. In John 14:6 it says ...Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If your brother has not accepted the Lord as his Savior we pray that this will open his eyes and he will realize his need for Jesus in his life. As it is written, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 WEB. May this situation drive him to the Lord rather than away.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God's will, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB. Keeping our eyes on Jesus we pray for God's will knowing our Father knows best and loves us.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is facing open heart surgery. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon him, guiding the doctors and nurses, and granting him a swift recovery. We pray for comfort and peace in his grief, and that You would continue to heal his broken heart. We also pray for his faith in Christ.
