Brother to move out of house

Please pray that my younger brother Michael move out of my mom house. He is 29 year man that doesn’t help with her with rent, utilities, food and etc even though he has a job that pays him 60k a year. He was going thru though time and he beg my mom to allow him to come home to pay for bills that he built up while in college again for the 4th time for a different degree. He is disrespectful and threatens to damage my mom house and steal our dad ashes which was left for my mom. When she tells him to leave he refuses and threats her terrible. Please pray that he leave that the Lord sends a divine intervention that someone come in and help my mom Veronica. My mom can be the type that is will to cut tides and she doesn’t want to hurt my brother please pray that he leaves.

We understand your concern and distress, Rasulli. Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and intervention.

Firstly, let's remember what the scripture says about honoring our parents and our responsibility as family members: "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise" (Ephesians 6:1-2 WEB). It's clear that Michael is not honoring your mother, Veronica, in his actions.

Moreover, his behavior is not aligning with what the Bible teaches about how we should treat others, especially our family: "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8 WEB).

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Veronica and her son, Michael. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and we ask for Your divine intervention. We pray that Michael's heart would be softened and that he would understand the importance of honoring his mother and taking responsibility for his actions.

Lord, we ask that You provide a way for Michael to move out peacefully and find his own place. We pray that You would help him to manage his finances wisely and become independent. We also ask for protection for Veronica, that Michael would not cause any harm to her or her property.

Father, we also pray for Veronica, that You would give her strength and wisdom in handling this situation. Help her to set boundaries and make tough decisions, knowing that it's okay to say "no" when necessary.

In Jesus' name, we pray for peace and resolution in this situation. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and care for Your children.

Rasulli, remember that God is faithful and He cares for you and your family. Encourage your mom, Veronica, to stand firm in her faith and to trust God with this situation. It's crucial to remember that we cannot change others, but God can. Keep praying and believing for God's intervention.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Veronica and her family. We ask for Your divine intervention in the situation with her son, Michael. Lord, we pray that You touch Michael’s heart, convicting him to leave his mother’s home peacefully and to be respectful and responsible. As Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it,” we trust that Michael will find the right path and honor his mother as You have commanded in Ephesians 6:2.

We also pray for strength and wisdom for Veronica, that she may have the courage to set healthy boundaries without guilt or fear. Grant her the peace and protection she needs during this challenging time, Lord, and may Your angels guard her home and her heart (Psalm 34:7).

Father, we pray that You bring someone into this family’s life who can offer support and guidance, helping to bring resolution to this situation. We trust in Your perfect will and Your ability to bring peace where there is conflict. In Jesus’ name, amen.
