We come before You, lifted up by the power of Your Son Jesus Christ. We pray for barbaracottle's brother as he faces open-heart surgery. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, particularly his heart. Guide the hands of the surgeons and medical team, granting them wisdom and skill. We pray that the operation will be successful and that healing flow. Help him to be able to breathe easier than he has lately and than he is currently. We pray for the consolation of his family and loved ones. We also pray for everyone in our community who is suffering from illness, Lord. We ask for Your healing power to touch each one of them, bringing comfort, strength, and restoration. May they be aware of the great Physician guiding their lives.
In the holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Barbara, to continue trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful. As it is written in Psalm 147:3 WEB: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is working all things together for good, even in this challenging time (Romans 8:28).
Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is so important to remember, as friends and family may not, to include yes, even our savior's name on prayers.
Be strong and courageous. We trust the good Lord can use this for God's glory, so the world may know He is a healing God!
