Brother in coma for almost ### weeks

My brother, ### (###), has been in a coma for almost ### weeks. He turned his life around recently and stopped drinking and started working again and being a stand-up uncle and dad to his family. He just became an uncle as I just had a baby ### months ago. He has ### children and a wife that needs him.

It’s been a very hard time. I pray that God heals him and wakes him up from this. God have mercy on my brother!

We are truly sorry to hear about your brother ### and the trial your family is currently enduring. We will stand with you in prayer and believe that God can bring healing and restoration.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in the power of God's healing. In the book of James we learn, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:14-16 WEB).

While it is commendable that ### has turned his life around and is the first step is believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We are encouraged that he has turned his life around and has stopped drinking and has started working again, yet the Bible teaches that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and eternal life. The next step is to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead. You will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We encourage you to take courage in prayer knowing that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only name by which men must be saved.

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the life of ###. You are the God of mercy and grace, and we ask for Your healing touch on his body. We pray that You will wake him from this coma and restore him to his family. We thank You that ### has turned his life around, and we believe that this trial can be used for Your glory and the further transformation of his life and character.

We also pray for ###'s wife and children, that You would comfort and strengthen them during this difficult time. Surround them with Your love and peace, and provide for their every need. In the name of Jesus Christ, we trust that ### has confessed Jesus as Lord and believe in his heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 10:9-10). As a matter of urgency please Holy Spirit convict ###'s heart about salvation and send someone to share the gospel with him if necessary. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

We've been thinking about your brother ### and your family a lot. It's been a tough time, but we want you to know that we're standing right there with you in prayer. We believe that God is a God of miracles and we're trusting Him to heal ### and wake him up from this coma.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know that God sees your family's pain and He's right there with you, ready to heal and comfort.

We've also been praying for ###'s wife and children. We're asking God to surround them with His love and peace during this difficult time. We're believing that God will provide for all their needs, just as He promises in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Let's keep trusting in God's goodness and mercy. We're believing for a miracle in Jesus' name.

Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
