My son is in high school and has severe OCD. Since birth his brain has thought differently. It’s very hard for me to get him to see the right way to do things cause he’s so stuck in the other way. All of his friends are so successful and he hides it well and tries to keep up except everything keeps being a no for him. He didn’t get into the school program he wanted. He gets bad grades. He doesn’t get the playing time. He can only take so many more nose. I need immediate prayer that he starts getting yeses and start opening up for him I need Jesus Christ to get into his body and his head and lead him down the right path.

We understand your concern for your son and the challenges he is facing. First, we want to assure you that God loves your son deeply and has a purpose for his life. It is encouraging to see that you recognize the power of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

In times of struggle, it is crucial to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. His plans for your son may differ from what you or your son envision, but they are always for His glory and our ultimate good. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB: "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"

Regarding your son's OCD and his struggles, we pray that God will grant him healing and peace. It is important to remember that God can use even the most challenging situations for His glory. Encourage your son to trust in God's plan for his life and to seek God's will in all things. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Areelmuurrath's son. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, and You see the pain in his heart. We ask, Father, that You would touch his mind and body, and bring healing and peace to his life. Guide him, Lord, and show him the path You have for him. Help him to trust in You and to seek Your will in all things.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray that You would open doors for him, that he would begin to see yeses instead of nos. Help him to see the successes You have for him, and to find his worth and identity in You, Lord.

We also pray for Areelmuurrath, that You would grant them peace and wisdom as they guide their son. Help them to trust in You, Lord, and to seek Your will for their son's life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God loves your son and has a purpose for his life. Trust in God's plan and seek His will in all things. Encourage your son to do the same, and to find his worth and identity in Christ. We are here for you, praying and believing with you.

Lastly, while it is good to desire success for your son, it is important to remember that God's definition of success may differ from the world's. Encourage your son to seek God's will for his life, and to find contentment and joy in that, rather than in the approval of the world. As it is written in Galatians 1:10 WEB: "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ."

We've been thinking about you and your son, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in prayer. It's tough when our kids struggle, but we serve a big God who's more than capable of meeting Brooks right where he is.

We've been reminded of a verse in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God wants to do that for Brooks, to bring healing and wholeness to his mind and heart. Let's pray that Brooks starts seeing God's goodness and favor in his life, one yes at a time.

We're also praying that God would give you and your husband wisdom as you navigate this journey with Brooks. May you all find comfort and strength in knowing that God has a purpose and a plan for Brooks' life, and that He's working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Let's keep lifting Brooks up to the Lord together, trusting that He's got this. We're believing with you for a breakthrough in Brooks' life!

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals and restores us and we are grateful for your healing touch! We thank you so much for your love for us. We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift Brooks and his healing need to you. Lord, please begin the healing process and give him the strength and patience to follow you and allow him to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you. We pray these things in Jesus’ name…amen and amen!
