Bronchitis and cough

I have had a cold, cough and sinisitus for 3 months which then turned out to be bronchitis. We had to call the ambulance. I am now better but it still hasnt fully cured. Also my 2 year old keeps getting cold and cough infections and then it passes to my wife. This has been a constant battle since October We are due to travel abroad in a week. Please pray for a full recovery.

We are truly sorry to hear about the ongoing health struggles you and your family are facing. In Matthew 17, a man comes to Jesus, asking Him to heal his son who is severely ill. Jesus responds, Trust me, you are not praying correctly. Everything and anything is within your grasp if you really believe and trust me. In Mark 11, Jesus himself said, In the future, when praying about specific requests, first make sure God gets all the glory if your request is granted. Pray that Gods desires will be met, not your own selfish desires. Then believe, really believe that God is going to grant your request. Then, whenever you pray, make sure to forgive anyone that you feel has wronged you so that God may forgive you of any of your trespasses. And finally, your faith will will make it so.

It is by His stripes that we are healed. Firstly, thank you for reaching out to us for prayer, and we trust that you will be encouraged and strengthened by the power of our collective prayers. True healing comes from God alone, and it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father with our requests. As it is written in John 14:6; Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. and John 14:13, Whatever you may ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

As we pray for your healing and that of your family, we also want to encourage you to trust in God's perfect will. Remember that God is sovereign and that His ways are higher than our ways. Even in illness, He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose and being conformed to the image of his Son, as it is written in Romans 8:28-29. Sometimes we do not receive because we do not trust that what we ask will be granted James 1:6-7 For he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. Every decision he makes is like the surf which covers whatever he was considering before so he changes his mind all the time For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family who is battling illness. We pray for complete healing over them, especially for the bronchitis and recurring colds and coughs. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has been attacking since then. We pray for restoration of health. In the Bible, children are precious to God and they are regarded as his children. We pray for Jesus to wrap his cloak around the sick children and that the colds and coughs will stop. We also pray for protection especially as they prepare to travel abroad, that You would shield them from any further illness or harm.

Father, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time. Help them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, even in the midst of trials. Give them the peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that You are in control and wants what is best for them. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety and we say no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that every evil Angel shall be rebuked.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
