We understand that you're facing a practical need in your household with your washer and dryer breaking down. While we will pray for this situation, we also want to remind you that God is concerned with all aspects of our lives, including our daily needs.
We also notice that Jesus was not mentioned. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Let us discuss and pray about this.
Let's remember what the Bible says in:
Matthew 6:25-34 WEB
25 “Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26 See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
... 31 Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’
32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
And in James 4:2-3 WEB
2 You lust, and don’t have. You kill, despise, and are jealous. You aren’t able to. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask.
3 You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
As we pray for your needs, let's also remember to seek God's kingdom and righteousness first, trusting that He will provide for all our needs.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We lift up our fellow believer who is in need of a functioning washer and dryer. We pray for a miracle, Lord, that the machines would be fixed soon, and that their family would have enough clothes to wear in the meantime.
We also pray that this situation would draw them closer to You, seeking Your kingdom and righteousness first, trusting in Your provision. Help them understand that they should not worry for You know what they need.
And Lord, we pray for them to continue to trust in You and remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to You. In Jesus name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all areas of your life, trusting that He will provide for all your needs.
