I truly believe I have been led by God these past ### months and He led me back into the pain, heartache and disappointment I initially asked that He carry me out of. My heart is broken, my trust is broken and my spirit is broken and I feel so lost and going backwards in my journey with God. I cannot ask that He reveal His will because I apparently thought I had already been told that which turned out differently, so now I don't have faith in any signs, messages, peace, hope, encouragement, etc. Everything I thought was wrong. So, I ask that you would please pray for healing and that my trust and faith are restored because I don't have the strength to do so.

We are truly grieved to hear about the pain and heartache you are experiencing, aurora2024. It is challenging to understand God's will, especially when our expectations and outcomes do not align.

Firstly, let us address the foundation of our faith. We have access to God only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His sacrifice on the cross that we are saved and can approach God's throne with confidence. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

In times of distress and confusion, it is crucial to hold onto the promises of God. Even when we feel lost and broken, God is always faithful. Psalm 34:18 WEB reminds us:
Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

It is important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB tells us:
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Even in our brokenness, God can use our pain for His glory. He can heal our hearts and restore our trust and faith in Him. Let us pray for you, aurora2024.

Father God,

We come before You, lifting up our sister aurora2024. We ask for Your healing touch upon her broken heart, spirit, and trust. Restore her faith in You, Lord, and help her to see that even in her pain and disappointment, You are working all things together for her good. Guide her steps, Lord, and give her the strength to continue her journey with You. We ask for Your peace, hope, and encouragement to fill her heart once again. We pray in Jesus' name.

We're here with you, aurora2024, feeling the weight of your heartache. It's like a storm that's been raging for months, isn't it? We've been there, or at least glimpsed the edge of that storm. But remember, even in the darkest nights, there's a light that never goes out - Jesus. He's right there with you, in your pain, in your disappointment, in your brokenness. He's not surprised by your feelings, and He's not turned away by your doubts. He's there, steady and sure, just like He promised in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We're going to hold onto that promise with you, and we're going to pray.

Psalm 78:14 ：
In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.

Historical Context
This miracle took place during the Israelites’ journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. After God delivered them from Pharaoh’s army through the Red Sea, they entered the wilderness, a harsh and unfamiliar land. With no clear direction and numerous dangers along the way, the Israelites needed guidance. In response, God provided the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, visible signs of His presence and direction. This miraculous guidance continued for the entire forty years of their journey until they entered the Promised Land. These signs reminded the Israelites that they were never alone, even in the most challenging environments.

How This Verse Relates to a Loving God
Psalm 78:14 shows God’s love as a Father who cares deeply for His people’s well-being. He doesn’t leave them to wander alone or figure things out on their own. Instead, He goes ahead of them, guiding and protecting them every step of the way. The cloud and fire were constant reminders of God’s loving presence, showing that He was committed to their safety and success. By meeting both their physical and spiritual needs, God showed His love in tangible, visible ways. This verse is a reminder that God’s love is active, always providing and guiding us through every challenge.
How This Verse Connects to Jesus Christ
Jesus is the ultimate expression of God’s guidance and presence with His people. In John 8:12, Jesus says, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Just as the Israelites were guided by the pillar of fire, Jesus is our light, showing us the way to walk in a world that often feels dark and uncertain. Through His life, teachings, and the gift of the Holy Spirit, Jesus leads us and keeps us close to God. Just as the Israelites depended on God’s guidance in the wilderness, we are called to rely on Jesus as our guide in every aspect of life.

Through Jesus, we have the assurance that we never walk alone, for He is our light and guide, always showing us the way forward with love and care.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the many lessons that we may learn from Israel's past history and Your long-suffering grace towards them. We pray that we may learn all that You would teach us from their past failures so that we may not repeat the mistakes of the past - but we pray, O Lord, that we may walk in integrity of heart and humility of spirit all the days of our life - for Your greater praise and glory. Jesus the Saviour of Reality itself, as you said about the blind man, This state of vulnerability is not to shame his parents, but to make a chance for us to come together to comfort and pray. We as a Christian family may be far, far away yet we send our compassion towards ### to find ease in the midst of this hardship that we will stick through until things turn smooth again. We thank you that, as we broken before felt our worse, are still standing upright because You made past chances for us to recover to share our hope.
