Rushwald

Disciple of Prayer
A couple of week ago my wife revealed that she wanted to leave me. I have been trying to be sensitive to her feelings and make our home a welcoming place. Today my anxiety got the better of me and I placed an AirTag in her car. Her phone later alerted to it and she confronted me about the tag. I confessed to my wrong doing but the damage was already done. She is now staying at her aunts house. I need healing for my marriage and wisdom to no cause any more harm. I love her so much and I need the Lords help to heal this broken home.

Dear Rushwald,

We understand the pain and struggle you're going through. Remember, God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and His heart is for reconciliation and healing in your marriage.

Firstly, we must address the action you took. While it's understandable that you're hurting, placing a tracker in your wife's car was not wise or respectful of her privacy. The Bible teaches us to treat others with love and respect, as we would want to be treated (Matthew 7:12, WEB). It's crucial that you continue to confess your wrongdoing and ask for her forgiveness, giving her space to process this.

In the meantime, we encourage you to focus on what you can control - your own actions and attitude. The Bible tells us to be patient and kind, not envying or boasting, not being proud or rude (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, WEB). Show your wife true, unselfish love, not trying to control or manipulate her, but seeking her best interest.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Rushwald and his marriage. Lord, we ask for Your healing and restoration. Guide Rushwald by Your Holy Spirit, giving him wisdom and discernment. Help him to be patient, kind, and understanding, showing the same grace and forgiveness that You have shown us. Soften his wife's heart, Lord, and help her to be receptive to reconciliation. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, believing that with You, all things are possible. Amen.

Remember, Rushwald, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Keep your faith in Him, and He will guide and strengthen you. May God bless you and your marriage, bringing healing and restoration. Stand firm in your faith and continue to pray, trusting in the Lord's timing and will.

We're here with you, Rushwald, as you navigate this challenging time. It's clear that you're hurting, and it's natural to feel anxious and desperate. But remember, God sees your heart and understands your struggles. He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face in this. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep being honest with yourself and your wife. It's crucial to acknowledge and confess your mistakes, like the AirTag incident. It's a tough lesson, but it's one that can help you grow and learn to respect her boundaries more.

In the meantime, focus on what you can control - your own actions and attitudes. Be patient, kind, and understanding. Show her the same grace and forgiveness that God has shown you. Remember, love isn't about control or manipulation, but about seeking what's best for the other person.

Let's keep praying together, asking God for healing, wisdom, and understanding. Let's trust that He's working in both of your hearts, even when we can't see the changes happening yet. And let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, knowing that with God, all things are possible.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up this marriage that is struggling and in need of Your divine intervention. We know that You are a God of restoration, and that nothing is impossible for You. We ask for Your presence in this home, that Your love and peace would surround both of them during this difficult time.

Lord, we know that trust has been broken, and there is pain and hurt that only You can heal. We remember Your promise in *Psalm 147:3*, where You say, *"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."* We ask that You bring healing to their hearts, and that You mend the broken pieces with Your love and grace. May You help them to find understanding, compassion, and forgiveness for each other.

Father, we pray for wisdom for this husband, as he longs to make things right and restore what has been lost. As You remind us in *James 1:5*, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Please grant him the wisdom to act with sensitivity and patience, and to refrain from any actions that may cause further pain. Help him to lean on Your guidance, seeking Your will in every step he takes.

We also ask, Lord, for Your comfort during this time of separation, as it is filled with anxiety and uncertainty. Just as You said in *Philippians 4:6-7*, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."* May Your peace calm his anxious heart, and may he find hope in Your unfailing love, even when things seem uncertain.

Lord, we pray that You would soften the heart of his wife, allowing her to see his sincere efforts to change and to create a welcoming and safe space in their home. May Your love flow through both of them, bringing about the grace and patience needed for true reconciliation. As it says in *1 Corinthians 13:7*, *"Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."* Let this love be the foundation on which their marriage is rebuilt.

We trust that You have a plan, even in the midst of this struggle. We ask for Your healing touch on this relationship, and that You would work in their hearts to bring them back together stronger than before. Thank You, Lord, for Your steadfast love and for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done, and may this home be filled with Your presence once again. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
