We are truly sorry to hear about the breakdown of your marriage and the departure of your husband. Let's come together in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention for your marriage.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of faith and the promise of God's word. Jesus said in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment, and He desires for couples to be reunited and reconciled.
However, we must also acknowledge that God grants free will to each individual. While we pray for your husband to return, we also pray that God works in his heart, drawing him closer to Himself. As it says in 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 (WEB), "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not be separated from her husband (but if she is separated, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this broken marriage. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would soften the heart of this woman's husband and draw him back to her and to You. We pray for healing, restoration, and reconciliation in their relationship. In the meantime, we ask that You comfort her heart, strengthen her faith, and help her to trust in You completely.
Lord Jesus, we acknowledge that it is only through Your name that we can approach God the Father. We pray that both this woman and her husband would come to a saving knowledge of You, if they have not already. We ask that You would be at the center of their marriage, guiding them and leading them according to Your will.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to pray, trust, and have faith in God. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). Remain steadfast in His love and keep your hope alive in Him. May God bless you and your marriage.
