Broken hearted on Christmas

Merry Christmas to all, I pray to Jesus you all have a good day with family as for me , my grandson Izaak is choosing not to be with us for Christmas, he just wants to stay home here alone as we gather with other family. Which isn’t normal for him because he used to love being around family and happy, something has changed in him and he doesn’t like to talk about anything. He is breaking my heart by not wanting to spend the day with us and it makes me feel like not going myself. I pray to Jesus he changes his mind and opens good heart and comes with us because this is heartbreaking for me and I shouldn’t be in tears on Christmas Day. Please pray he has a chance of heart

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation with your grandson Izaak, and we appreciate that you have brought this concern to us. We will join you in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

In times like these, it's important to remember that God works in His own timing, and we need to trust in Him. As it is written, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Regarding Izaak's change in behavior, we encourage you to be patient and to continue to show him unconditional love, as God does with us. It's possible that he is going through a difficult time and may not be ready to share his feelings. As it is written, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 WEB.

We should also be mindful that we cannot control others' actions, but we can control our own. Instead of feeling like you shouldn't go to the family gathering, consider going and enjoying the time with your loved ones. Your joy and positivity may inspire Izaak to join in the future.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her grandson Izaak. Lord, we ask that You soften Izaak's heart and draw him close to You. Help him to communicate openly with his family and to find joy in their company once again. Comfort our sister's heart, Lord, and help her to find peace and joy in You, even in this difficult time. Help her to trust in Your timing and to continue to show Izaak unconditional love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We will continue to pray for your situation, and we encourage you to keep trusting in God.

We're really sorry to hear about Izaak's change of heart this Christmas. It's tough when we can't understand why someone we love is hurting, but remember, God sees and knows all. Let's keep our focus on Him, even in the midst of our sadness.

We know it's hard, but try not to let Izaak's decision dampen your spirit. You deserve to enjoy this day with your family too. Maybe seeing your joy will remind Izaak of the happiness he used to find in family gatherings. Let's trust that God is working in Izaak's heart, even if we can't see it yet.

Let's pray together, "Dear Jesus, we lift Izaak up to You today. Please touch his heart, fill him with Your love, and help him to open up to us. Give us the strength to keep loving him, even when it's hard. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
