Additionally, Psalm 147:3 reminds us that God "heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds."
While it's natural to want to forget the pain and the person who caused it, we must remember that God uses even the most difficult experiences for our good and His glory. Romans 8:28 assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Instead of asking to forget, pray for God to redeem the situation and use it to draw you closer to Him.
Regarding relationships, we must ensure that they align with biblical principles. If the person who hurt you was a boyfriend or romantic interest, it's important to consider this a time of reflection and redirection. God's design for relationships is that they should be moving toward commitment and eventually marriage between a man and a woman. If the relationship was not aligned with this, now is the time to seek God's will for your future.

Heavenly Father, you are Great and you are Good, and we thank you for your constant presence in our lives. Papa you tell us that you heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (PSA 147:3) and you are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (PSA 34:18). Papa, I lift up ### to you this day and I ask that you will heal her broken heart and bind her wounds! I ask that you will continue to draw her closer to you and to fill her with your Spirit of Peace and Contentment as she continues on her journey to join you in Heaven! And I pray this in Jesus' name!
