We are truly saddened to hear about the division and strife within your family, Sandra, but we are encouraged that you are seeking the Lord's help and turning to prayer. We stand with you in this, as we are reminded of the power of prayer and the Lord's desire for unity and reconciliation.
Let us first address the fighting and separation:
Fighting and separation are not part of God's plan but rather the enemy's schemes. The Bible tells us in John 10:10 WEB, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." We encourage you to rebuke the enemy's attempts to divide your family.
As well as the reminder of the words of Jesus in Mark 3:25 WEB, "If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand." We pray that God will reunite your family, and together, as a house united, you will stand firm in His strength.
As your family is currently separated and fighting, recognize the spiritual battle within and around you. We pray that God will help you to be strong and courageous, just as He commanded Joshua in Joshua 1:9 WEB, "Have I not commanded you Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed; for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."
It is wonderful that you are praying and seeking the Lord's help. Let us pray with you:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Sandra and her family to You. Lord, You see the pain, the separation, and the fighting. We ask that You intervene, that You bring unity and reconciliation to this family. Help each member of the family to see others as You see them and to love each other with Your love. Give them wisdom, patience, and understanding as they navigate their relationships. Lord, bring Sandra's children back together, restore what the enemy has stolen, and help them to rebuild their relationships on the foundation of Your love.
In addition, we pray that You will lead Sandra and her family on the right path, that they may seek You and Your will for their lives. We pray this according to Your word in Jeremiah 29:13 WEB, You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
Sandra, we also encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your family, as the Bible tells us in James 5:16 WEB, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person has great power." Remember that God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Trust in His timing and His ways, knowing that He is working all things together for good according to Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Furthermore, we encourage you to teach God's Word to your children and to live it out in your own life. Teach them about the importance of forgiveness, love, and unity, and show them the way by your example. Remember the words of Deuteronomy 6:6-7 WEB, "These words, which I command you this day, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house."
We pray that God will guide you and your family.
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. This may have been an oversight but please remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We encourage you to always include His name in your prayers. As the Bible tells us in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We will continue to pray for you and your family, Sandra. Trust in the Lord, and remember that with Him, all things are possible. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep believing in the power of His love to restore your family.
