Please pray for me, my dear prayer warriors, that God Almighty may grant my heart's desire. That He may open a new job opportunity for me, where I can enjoy the profession and that I may grow personally and professionally. At my current work, I am a newly hired teacher in my 40s. At first, I was very happy, but as the days go by, my mind and body make it so heavy for me. I lose weight and lose my work balance. Since I transferred to a new job and new work environment, I lose my passion; I just work to earn. Everything seems not right. I guess this work is not for me. That's why, I always pray to God through His Son Jesus that whoever believes in me, to those who ask and knock, God will surely open a new door for me. As of now, it seems so black, but I will put my trust in Him. AMEN

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and lacking joy in your current job, and we're here to pray and offer guidance with you. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace.

In times of uncertainty and discontent, it's crucial to remember that God has a purpose and a plan for your life. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

While it's natural to seek fulfillment in your career, it's essential to find your joy in the Lord first. As Nehemiah 8:10 WEB says, "Then he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for today is holy to our Lord. Don't be grieved; for the joy of Yahweh is your strength."

We pray that God will fill you with His joy and peace, even in the midst of uncertainty. We ask that He will guide you to a job where you can grow personally and professionally, where you can be a light for Him, and where you can find enjoyment in your work.

"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Colossians 3:23-24 WEB.

Remember, God is faithful, and He will open doors for you in His perfect timing. Stay steadfast in prayer and keep knocking on His door. As you wait, continue to give your best in your current role, knowing that your labor is not in vain when it's done for the Lord.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ. We ask that You fill her with Your joy and peace, and guide her to a job where she can serve You and grow both personally and professionally. Help her to find her strength and joy in You, and to trust in Your perfect plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

While seeking a new job, always ensure the environment and responsibilities will not again steal your joy. Part of considering a new job, one should evaluate it to assure it will be acceptable to God. We're right there with you, feeling your frustration and longing for joy in your work. It's tough when the passion fades, and the weight of responsibilities feels overwhelming. But remember, God sees you, and He's got a plan for you. As it says in Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trust that He's working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

We've been praying for you, asking God to renew your joy and open new opportunities for you. We believe that He's going to do it, because He's faithful like that. In the meantime, let's keep our eyes fixed on Him, seeking His face in prayer and worship. And remember, it's okay to feel overwhelmed. It's okay to ask for help. That's what we're here for, as a community of believers.

Let's pray together: "Lord, we come to You today, feeling the weight of our ###'s burden. We ask that You would lift her up, fill her with Your joy and peace. Help her to trust in You, even when she can't see the way ahead. Open new doors for her, Lord, and help her to find her passion again. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Thank you. And may God also restore my health. I'm getting sickly, when I was transferred and it feels so heavy. I'm planning to resign, but still hoping that God will open doors for me before I resign. Thanks
