Bring back my soulmate

Please pray for my soulmate to come back to me. I hadn’t seen or spoke to him in 14 years. We were once married. He moved to another state a few years ago and by Gods loving grace we knew someone who was able to help us get connected again. We spoke about a week ago for a brief time. He told me life was hard living without his soulmate meaning me. We text back and forth for several days. He said he was going to find a way to get out of his current situation and come back to me at beginning of this coming year. The circumstances are unclear but the truth is we are both very much in love with one another. Divorcing him was the hardest decision I had made so many years ago but he was going through a rough time and heavily drinking from a tragic incident that happened to him. Although we have a deep love for another, at the time it was unhealthy to stay in the relationship for a number of reasons. I didn’t know what else to do as he was so lost from the tragedy and was not able to process the guilt and grief he carried. I have been in a couple long term relationships since but I have been celibate and lonely for years as I can’t be with someone I’m not in love with or don’t have chemistry with. He’s better now and apologized for his actions back then and says he would remarry me but we can never get divorced again which I don’t plan to if it is possible for our love to reunite and be together again. I am working on myself in the meantime, and hoping and praying he will truly get back to me. Please pray for my soulmate to come back and for us to live happily ever after again.

Firstly, we must highlight that your prayer concludes beautifully, invoking the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray.

Regarding your situation, it is crucial to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong covenant. The Bible tells us, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." (Matthew 19:6 WEB). However, it is also important to acknowledge the reality of your past divorce and the reasons behind it. God understands the complexities of life and the decisions we make, but He also calls us to live in a way that honors Him.

We encourage you to continue working on yourself, growing in your faith, and seeking God's will. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

We come before You, lifting up K.O. and J.B. We thank You for the love they share and the connection that has been rekindled. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their lives. Guide them, Lord, and help them to heal from their past hurts. If it is Your will for them to reunite, we pray that You would make a way. Help them to communicate openly, to forgive completely, and to move forward in a manner that honors You.

We ask that You fill K.O. with peace and patience as she waits on Your timing. Help her to continue growing in her faith and in her relationship with You. We also pray for J.B., that he would continue to heal and grow, and that he would seek Your will for his life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We urge you both to seek God's face, to study His Word, and to allow His Spirit to guide you.
