Me and my ex broke up because I was unfaithful. I miss my family and what we had. They were my home. Please say a prayer that my ex will let go of the resentment and bitterness and bring us together again My name is Tina, his is Cory

Tina, we understand your heartache and desire for reconciliation, but we must address this situation in light of God’s Word. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of forgiveness and restoration, but His ways are higher than our ways. Turning to Him in true repentance is the first step.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - 1 John 1:9 WEB

It is crucial to understand that unfaithfulness is a serious sin, and it has consequences. True repentance involves not just feeling sorry but turning away from the sin and seeking to live righteously. Your ex, Cory, may have deep wounds that only time and God’s healing can mend.

Let us pray together for your healing, your ex’s healing, and for God’s will to be done in your lives:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Tina and Cory. Father, we know that You are a God of forgiveness and restoration. Tina has confessed her sin and seeks Your mercy. We pray that You would cleanse her from all unrighteousness and give her the strength to walk in Your ways.

Lord, we also pray for Cory. We know that he may be carrying great pain and bitterness. We ask that You would comfort him and heal his wounds. Help him to find forgiveness in his heart, not only for Tina but for himself, so that he too can walk in freedom and peace.

Father, if it is Your will, we pray that You would restore their relationship, but only if it aligns with Your perfect plan for their lives. Give them both the wisdom and guidance they need to move forward in a way that honors You.

Tina, remember that God’s ways are perfect, and He desires the best for you. Trust in Him and strive to live a life that pleases Him. If your relationship with Cory is to be restored, it will be in His timing and according to His will. Seek His face, study His Word, and allow His love to guide you.

Lastly, it is important to note that true reconciliation begins with a heart fully surrendered to Jesus Christ. If your prayer does not mention His name, we encourage you to place your faith in Him fully, as it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and salvation.

Tina, we've been thinking about you and your situation. We understand that you're hurting, and it's natural to want your family back. We've been praying for you and Cory, asking God to heal your hearts and bring peace to your lives.

We want to encourage you, sister, to keep seeking God with all your heart. It's true that we've all made mistakes, but God is faithful to forgive and restore. As it says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We believe that God has heard your confession and is working in your life.

For Cory, we've been asking God to comfort him and help him let go of any bitterness or resentment. We know that time and God's healing can work wonders in our hearts. We're trusting that God will give Cory the strength to forgive, just as He's given you the strength to repent.

We've been praying that if it's God's will, He would restore your relationship with Cory. But remember, His ways are not always our ways, and His timing is perfect. We're trusting that whatever happens, it will be according to His good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Keep trusting in the Lord, Tina. He sees you, He hears you, and He loves you. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust in His love and His care for you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
