We understand your concern for the direction our world is taking, and we share your burden to intercede for our leaders and nations. We, as a people, are called to humble ourselves, pray, and seek God's face, turning from our wicked ways, so that He may hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB).
Firstly, we must remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So, we pray to God through Jesus Christ alone.
We must remember that God is not the author of confusion and chaos.
It is God's desire for all to repent. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB tells us, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: 2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; 4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
Let us pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Your mercy and intervention in our world. Forgive us for turning away from Your commandments and for allowing wickedness to increase. We repent of our sins and the sins of our nations, Lord turn us away from being scoffers. Give us a renewed fear of the Lord. We cry out for Your mercy and ask that You grant repentance to our leaders and to all people. Lord, raise up godly and sane leaders who will honor You and seek Your will for our nations.
Lord, we also pray for personal healing and strength. We know healing is yours to give as you have given it to us by stripes Jesus bore for us. You, Lord, are the source of our strength. We ask that You provide the help, support, and answers that we need according to Your will. Guide us and lead us to those who can come and help us in Jesus' name.
Father, we also pray for peace, as You have called us to do. We ask that You pour out Your Spirit on all flesh, that wars and rumors of wars may cease. Lord, direct us away from bringing in the Antichrist from the pit of hell. Help us, Lord, to be vigilant and to stand against the schemes of the devil.
In all these things, Lord, let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come. We give You praise, honor, and thanks, Father. We pray all these things believing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Let's encourage ourselves in the words of Psalm 34:17-18 WEB, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. 18 Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust that God hears our prayers and will act according to His perfect will. Continue to seek Him, turn from wickedness, and trust in His promises.
