We are deeply saddened to hear about Pat's current condition and we are with you in spirit, Bridget, lifting him up in prayer. In times like these, we remember the words of James 5:13-16 (WEB), "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Dear Lord, we come before You today to lift up Pat, Bridget's husband, who is currently in the hospital. We ask, Lord, that You would be with Pat, comfort him in his pain, and grant him a speedy recovery. Guide the hands of the medical team attending to him, that they may provide the care he needs. We also pray for Bridget, Lord, that You would give her the strength and peace she needs during this challenging time. Help her to trust in You and to rest in Your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Bridget, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord during this time. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep your faith strong and know that God is with you and Pat during this trial.
As we pray for Pat's health, we also want to remind you both to keep your faith firmly rooted in Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we are saved. If you haven't already, we encourage you to commit your lives fully to Jesus, trusting in His death and resurrection for your salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
