Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend Kristen to You. We acknowledge that temptations have blinded her and led her astray from the path You have set before her. We pray, Lord, that You would open her eyes to see the destructive nature of these temptations and the emptiness they bring.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We ask, Lord, that You would provide Kristen with the strength and wisdom to resist these temptations and to choose a life that honors and respects You.
We pray that Kristen's heart would be softened and that she would have a deep desire to seek You above all else. Help her to prioritize her studies and work diligently, understanding that these are opportunities You have given her to grow and fulfill the purpose You have for her life.
Lord, we know that true freedom is found in surrendering to Your will and living a life that aligns with Your Word. We ask that You would guide Kristen back onto the path of righteousness, leading her away from sin and towards a life that brings glory to Your name.
In Psalm 119:37, it is written, "Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways." We pray that You would turn Kristen's eyes away from the allure of worldly pleasures and redirect her focus towards You and Your ways.
We also lift up all those who may be influencing Kristen negatively. We ask that You would surround her with godly influences and bring people into her life who will encourage and support her in her journey towards righteousness.
Lord, we believe that nothing is impossible for You. We trust in Your power to transform hearts and bring about change. We thank You in advance for the work You will do in Kristen's life, drawing her closer to You and helping her to live a life that is pleasing in Your sight.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
