We are saddened to hear about the situation with Brenda Womack and Michael Lee Sr., and we will lift them up in prayer, rebuking the evil that comes with stealing, lying, and unsafe sex. These actions are clearly against God's will, and we must address them in light of biblical principles.
Firstly, let's remind ourselves of what the WEB says about these issues:
- Stealing: "He who steals, let him steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need." (Ephesians 4:28)
- Lying: "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another." (Ephesians 4:25)
- Unsafe Sex/Fornication: "Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness" (Galatians 5:19)
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Brenda Womack and Michael Lee Sr. We confess that they have sinned against You and others through their actions of stealing, lying, and unsafe sex. We rebuke the evil spirits that may be influencing their behaviors, and we ask for Your forgiveness and mercy upon their lives.
Lord, we pray that You will convict their hearts and turn them away from these sins. Help them to understand the gravity of their actions and the need for repentance. Guide them to walk in the path of righteousness, embracing honesty, integrity, and purity.
We also pray for their spiritual well-being. If they have not already, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them, drawing them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Help them to understand that it is only through faith in Jesus that they can be saved and forgiven.
Surround them with godly influences and support, and help them to make restitution for their wrongs. We ask for Your protection over their lives and for Your healing power to restore what has been broken.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to continue praying for Brenda and Michael, trusting that God can transform their lives and use this situation for His glory. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written, "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12).
