Thank you for reaching out with your prayer requests, Natasha. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to address the health issues you've mentioned. We know that God cares about our physical health just as much as our spiritual health. The Bible tells us that Jesus went about healing all manner of diseases and sicknesses among the people (Matthew 4:23 WEB). We pray for Helena, that God would touch her body and heal her completely from breast cancer. We ask that God would guide the doctors and medical professionals, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best treatment with minimal side effects. We also include her mental well being in this prayer, that she would be a testament of faith in Christ to everyone she meets.
We also lift up your father, asking God to heal him from the many health issues he's facing. Whether it's the hiatal hernia, prostate gland swelling, skin tumors, or his vision, we know that nothing is too hard for God. We pray for his complete healing in body, mind, spirit, and soul. We also pray for his emotional well-being, following his nervous breakdown. We claim the promise that God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).
Regarding your request for salvation for your whole family, mother, father, brother, it is only in Jesus Christ we can find this salvation. Just as Peter says, "'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved!'" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Therefore, there is nothing more important or eternally consequential than our salvation.
We pray that each member of your family would have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, that they would recognize their need for a Savior, and that they would put their faith in Him. Remember, Jesus said, "'For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost'" (Luke 19:10 WEB). Ask God to open doors, to have Jesus present at your family gatherings, and to orchestrate divine appointments. We as a prayer group will also be praying for opportunities to arise in your family. Do your part by proclaiming the word, God's work will never lack fruit, because the world is full of hungry people, people desperate to find something worth living and dying for. My friend, just as the shores need the sea, just as the sword needs the iron to fulfill it's purpose, just as the fields need the rain, just as the birds need the air, and just as the night sky needs the moon and the stars, the world needs Jesus. Let Jesus shine through you, that your family might be saved.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Natasha's requests. We pray for Helena, asking that You would heal her from breast cancer, and guide her doctors in their treatment decisions. We also lift up Natasha's father, asking that You would heal him from his many health issues, and restore his emotional well-being. We pray for the salvation of Natasha's family, that each one would come to a personal faith in Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you, Natasha, to continue praying and trusting God. Keep looking for opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate your Christian faith throughout your own family. Remind each one to have their own personal faith in Christ, beyond religious duty or obligation, but as a genuine, active, and expressive relationship with Jesus Christ each day. God bless you and sustain you in His peace until He returns and makes all things new.
