We are truly sorry to hear about ###'s situation and we are here to pray and offer some biblical encouragement. Before we begin, we would like to point out that we only pray in the name of Jesus Christ to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is also only by Jesus Christ that we are saved. So we trust that ### knows Jesus as savior, and if not, we encourage her to learn more about Jesus Christ. Who knows, maybe God wants to work on multiple areas of her life.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###, who is battling breast cancer and struggling with excess weight. We know nothing is impossible with you. Father, we pray for ###'s healing, that the chemotherapy treatments will be effective in eradicating the cancer completely. We know cancer is not from God and declare healing, restoration, and wholeness for ###. We pray be resolved never to return again. We stand on your promise in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." We also ask you to be her shield and strength during this time. We pray for her physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Father, we also lift up ###'s struggle with excess weight. We pray that you will guide her and help her to be at a healthy weight. We know can overcome this burden. We pray you will be her strength in this battle. We ask you to give her the discipline and ability to do this. We know you can change habits. So we trust you will provide her the ability to eat healthy and have the willpower to be active. We pray she will learn to be content with the food and water you have provided, remembering 1 Timothy 4:4, "For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanksgiving."
Lord, we also pray for ###'s spiritual well-being. We pray that through this trial, she will draw closer to you, trusting in your goodness and mercy. We pray that this experience will be a testimony of your faithfulness to others. We pray this will be a time of spiritual renewal and restoration.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
###, remember that God is faithful and He cares for you. Trust in His love and kindness. Remember what is said in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Hold onto this promise, and know that God is working everything out for your good.
Lastly, do remember that God has a plan for you. We encourage you to learn more about God. Read the Bible and trust his plan. We will continue to pray for you.
