We are deeply moved by your request, Kudwach, and we stand with you in prayer for Sandisiwe Mdoda and her mother.
First, we want to remind you of God's faithfulness and love. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your healing and comfort for Sandisiwe and her mother. Lord, you know the pain and suffering they are going through. We ask that you stretch forth your hand and touch Sandisiwe's body, heal her from cancer, and strengthen her as she goes through dialysis. Give her mother renewed strength and fill her with your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage both Sandisiwe and her mother to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. In Hebrews 12:2, we are reminded that "looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
During this challenging time, we urge them to trust in the Lord with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, they should acknowledge him, and he will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lastly, we want to remind you, Kudwach, that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you or Sandisiwe and her mother have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. For "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We continue to lift Sandisiwe and her mother up in our prayers, trusting that God will heal and strengthen them according to his will.
