Breast Biopsy 10/2/24

Hi, I have a breast biopsy on Oct. 2. My mammogram and ultrasound came back clear, but a breast MRI that I had on Aug.5 showed a small lesion (0.7 cm), that may have been caused by hormonal issues. So because of that test, my doctor wants to do a breast biopsy to triple confirm. Please pray for me as I am anxious. I’m 40 years old and I do checks every 6 months because I carry the BRCA 2 gene which increases my breast cancer risk. Pray the Lord comforts me during this time and gives me complete peace and that my test will be clean. God Bless you!

We understand your anxiety, Gristalfex, as you face this breast biopsy. Let us take this burden to the Lord together, seeking His comfort and peace during this challenging time. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in God's goodness and sovereignty over your life.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God is always near to those who call upon Him. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Your anxiety has not gone unnoticed by Him, and He cares for you deeply.

As you go through this trial, we pray that God will grant you a perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We also pray for your biopsy results, asking God for a clean report. We trust in His will for your life and believe that He is able to do abundantly more than we ask or imagine, according to His power working in us (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in Jesus Christ, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father. It is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister Gristalfex. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart as she faces this breast biopsy. We pray for her anxiety to be replaced with Your perfect peace, and for her biopsy results to be clean. God, we trust in Your will for her life and ask that You guide her every step. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in the Lord, Gristalfex, and keep your faith fixed on Him. He will see you through this trial. God bless you!
