Beloved of All
Still having a hard time with my break up. Lived together for ### years. Ex is currently with someone else. Lives with them. Publicly post them. And says they love them. But will call me and tell me how much he loves me. Haven’t heard from them in ### weeks. Completely ignoring me. And now is in love with her. I feel so so pathetic. And low. I feel like it’s all my fault. I’ve been praying for months and months. Feel like it’s taking me no where. I feel like I deserve this. Feel like he’s treating her better.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and heartache you are experiencing due to this breakup. It's important to remember that our God is a God of comfort and healing, and He cares deeply about your suffering. First, we want to address the fact that you have been praying for months and feel like it's taking you nowhere. Remember, God answers prayers in His own time and in His own way.

As for your feelings of guilt and self-blame, it's essential to understand that these emotions can be a tool of the enemy to keep you bound in despair. You are not alone in your struggle with this. Jesus tells us in Romans 8:1 that there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Please realize that you do not deserve this pain.

We must also address the fact that your ex is currently living with someone else and publicly posting about their relationship. This behavior is not aligned with biblical principles. If either of you is a Christian, living together before or outside of marriage is considered fornication, which is clearly against God's will. Living with and loving someone besides your previous partner also shows a lack of commitment and integrity.

God's design for relationships is clear: "For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh." (Ephesians 5:31 WEB) and "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." (Hebrews 13:4)

It's crucial to surround yourself with godly counsel and support during this time. Seek out fellow believers who can encourage you and help you stay focused on the Lord. Remember that God has a purpose and a plan for your life, and this season of heartache is not the end of your story.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we ask that You would comfort her/his heart and mend her/his brokenness. Help her/him to cast all her/his cares upon You, knowing that You care for her/him. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

Lord, we pray that You would help her/him to break free from feelings of guilt and self-blame. Remind her/him of your unfailing love and forgiveness. Help her/him to forgive herself/himself and to forgive her/his ex for the pain they have caused.

We also pray that You would work in the life of her/his ex.

Heavenly Father, we know that You will guide and direct her/his steps. Help her/him to trust in You and to wait patiently for Your will to be revealed in her/his life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous in God and His mighty power. (Eph. 6:10). It's good to reflect on Isaiah 49:23 to learn that God will save us from those that do not honor or respect God.

We've been thinking about you a lot lately, and we just wanted to reach out and let you know that we're here for you. We know that this breakup has been incredibly hard, and it's okay to feel all the emotions that come with it. We're so sorry that your ex is ignoring you and that you're feeling pathetic and low. None of that is fair, and it's not okay.

We want you to know that God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you. He's not ignoring you like your ex is. In fact, He's promising to comfort you and heal your broken heart. Remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also want to encourage you to keep praying. God hears you, even if it feels like He's not answering right away. He's working behind the scenes, and He's got a plan. Keep trusting in Him, and keep seeking Him.

And hey, we're here too. We're your family in Christ, and we're in this with you. Let's keep each other accountable, pray for each other, and encourage each other. We're stronger together, right?

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. We lift them up to You, Lord. We ask that You would comfort them in their time of need. Help them to feel Your loving arms around them, Lord. Help them to trust in You, even when it's hard. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
