We join with you in praying for a spiritual breakthrough and strong protection over you and all those in need. We stand on the promise in Ephesians 6:10-11, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Firstly, we pray that the Lord guides each of us individually in all truth, as Jesus promised in John 16:13, "However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming."
We rebuke all misperceptions, distortions, and lies of the enemy. Jesus said in John 8:32, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free," and in John 8:44, He described the devil, "You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies."
We pray for healing of soul and heart wounds, recognizing that it is through these wounds that the enemy often gains entry. Psalm 147:3 tells us that God "heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We ask for deliverance, healing, and salvation, knowing that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We also pray for a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, we ask for conviction of sin, as the Holy Spirit works in our lives. John 16:8 reminds us that the Holy Spirit will "convict the world concerning sin, concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment."
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and our Lord and Savior. We thank you for hearing our prayers. We pray this all in Jesus' name, amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to seek the Lord and His will for your life, as you pursue a deeper relationship with Him. Remember the words of James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
