We understand that you're going through a tremendously challenging time, Aeloeraerfield, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are here to pray with you and to offer biblical guidance and encouragement.
First, we want to address the issue of salvation. You did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible is clear about the importance of Jesus, even in the context of prayer. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) Also consider the words of the Apostle Peter, And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) And Paul said For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5)
Let's address the issues you're facing one by one. Firstly, we want to commend you for desiring a marital settlement and not just a relationship. Marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. However, the person you are currently with is not faithful and is preventing you from moving forward. This is not in alignment with God's will for your life. The Bible tells us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14) It is better to be alone than to be in a relationship that is not centered on God's principles. Make sure that he is a Christian believer.
Regarding your visa situation, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision. It is disappointing that the pastor who helped you is now refusing to give you your ID, but remember that God is your ultimate provider. As Christians the Apostle Paul says, we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) Continue to pray and seek God's face regarding this matter. Remember, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)
We also want to address the feelings of loneliness and betrayal you're experiencing. It's heartbreaking to hear that you've been hurt by friends and loved ones, but remember that God is always faithful. Even when others fail us, God never will. He says I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Joshua 1:5) Your ex-husband's actions and words may be hurtful, but remember that God is your defender. But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you (Matthew 5:44)
Lastly, we want to address the issue of suicide. It's crucial to understand that taking your own life is not the solution. God has a purpose and a plan for your life, and He wants you to live and fulfill that purpose. The Bible tells us that He has made everything beautiful in its time. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) If you're feeling overwhelmed, please reach out to a trusted Christian friend, Pastor, or counselor.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Aeloeraerfield. Lord, she is going through a challenging time, but we know that You are faithful. We pray for her marital settlement, that You would bring a godly spouse into her life, someone who loves and fears You. We pray for her visa situation, that You would intervene and make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for her emotional healing, that You would comfort her and remind her that she is never alone. We pray for her ex-husband, that You would soften his heart and bring him to repentance. We pray for her children, that You would protect them and guide them in the way they should go. We pray for her who is with her, that You would convict him and bring him to repentance or remove him from her life. And that he is a Christian Believer. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Remember, God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
