Dweryall, we rejoice with you as you seek a deeper connection with God and your husband. It is beautiful to see your desire for the Holy Spirit to draw you both closer to Him and to each other. As it is written in Ephesians 5:21, "subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ." This mutual submission is key to a strong and godly marriage.
We stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to stir up the love and affection between you and your husband, just as He promises in Jeremiah 31:3, "Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, 'Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Dweryall and her husband. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, drawing them closer to You and to each other. Stir up the same good and loving thoughts that were present when their love was strong and vibrant. Help them to be mutually submissive, loving, and caring towards each other, as Christ loves the Church. Remind them of the everlasting love You have for them, and help them to reflect that love in their marriage.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord together, studying His Word, and allowing His love to flow through you. Remember, as it is written in Ecclesiastes 4:12, "If one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." As you both draw closer to God, your marital bond will only strengthen and flourish. Keep your faith and hope in Jesus Christ, for He is the source of your love and unity.
