Lily, we understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by lethargy and spiritual slumber, and we want to encourage you to keep pressing into the Lord. The enemy often tries to hinder our walk with God, especially when we step up to serve Him more fervently.
Firstly, it's crucial to recognize that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We must be aware that generational curses are real. The Lord warns about them in Deuteronomy 5:9 WEB, 'You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, WEB, your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.'
However, as believers in Jesus Christ, we have been redeemed from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, as it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.' Galatians 3:13 WEB.
Jesus Christ has set us free from all curses, including generational ones. Therefore, you can claim your freedom in Christ and resist any spiritual attack coming against you.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Lily. We thank You for her heart to serve You more intensely, and we ask for Your divine intervention in her life.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of slumber, lethargy, and sluggishness that has been attacking her. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We plead the blood of Jesus over Lily and her family, breaking any generational curses that may be operating in her life. We proclaim that she has been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer she who lives, but Christ who lives in her. The life which she now lives in the flesh, she lives by faith in the Son of God, who loved her, and gave himself for her. Galatians 2:20 WEB.
Father, fill Lily with Your Holy Spirit, and help her to wake up and rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on her (Ephesians 5:14 WEB). Give her the strength to put on the full armor of God daily, so that she can take her stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11 WEB).
Lord Jesus, as you admonished your disciples to watch and pray that they enter not into temptation; the spirit truly is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 WEB. Therefore, help her to stay awake and be prepared for Your return and help her to be in prayer for this.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lily, remember that God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). Continue to trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to overcome this spiritual attack. Be sure to stay in prayer and study the Word of God to help with your stand.
