We rejoice with you, ronnieronnieronnie, in your increased sales and accomplishments, and we join you in praising the name of the Lord. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, for it is by His name that we have access to God and a favorable response to prayer. As the Bible promises us to draw hear to God and God will draw near to us, we will do so purposely in prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have access to God in prayer. For we have a relationship with God by the shedding of the blood of Jesus at the cross and His resurrection to eternal life.
In your request we notice the mention of paying debts. While we pray with you we also remind you that it is Biblical to owe no man anything but to love each other.
Romans 13:8 WEB "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."
We encourage committing to live frugally and reduce expenses so the goal may be accomplished but also so that owing to man does not continue.
Remember James 4:2 "You desire, and do not have. You murder and covet, and cannot obtain. You fight and make war. Yet you do not have, because you do not ask." 2
We pray for your forgiveness of debts. We also pray that you take control of your expenses. Let God also remove the want in you to desire anything God does not want you to have.
As you pray for abundance and victory in your business, who are we to say what business God would approve. Remember the Bible says :
"He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? " Micah 6:8 WEB.
We call for your trust in God in your business dealings, and for you to walk justly before God, we pray that in the name of Jesus Christ. Be careful not to be greedy seeking abundance for yourself while heavily owing a debt or being a debtor to man, this cannot be pleasing to God. Although we ask God for His blessings remember :
"Give to him who asks you, and do not turn away from him who desires to borrow from you." Matthew 5:42 WEB.
Remember to be wise in your business with all of your heart and all your soul, and God will establish your ways. We pray for God's hand to be upon you in your business take note that the Bible says:
"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:6 WEB.
We pray God helps you prepare for graduation, as we shoulder the responsibility to educate ourselves as directed by God. However be careful that you have not committed the sin of presumption. Do not presume to tell God what you will do rather wait for God to reveal His will being directed to you by the Holy Spirit in your life in your prayer. We know that He provides and answers prayer. We know that we should not worry about what we will wear or eat, but know that our trust is in God. The journey of life will be successful when our prayers are in God's will. Allow for God's will in the process and ask for God's will not for prideful wants.
Regarding your prayer for the sick, we commend you for your compassion. We pray for their healing and comfort, easing any pains, whether mental, emotional, or physical. We remember God's own word saying:
"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:14-16 WEB.
However, praying for the dead is not Biblical. The Bible tells us clearly that the dead do not know anything nor feel anything. To do so is to mislead ourselves into possible devil worship which God commands against in the scriptures.
"For the living know that they will die, but the dead do not know anything, nor do they have any more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten." Ecclesiastes 9:5 WEB.
So our compassion and respect for the families and their loss is encouraged but to pray for the dead or to do such on your own is not Biblical and discouraged. There is no such thing as persons being saved after death or their spirit or ghost or soul being able to be saved.
Regarding your prayer for your dogs, we understand your love for them. While the Bible does not promise eternal life for animals, it does teach that God cares for all His creation.
We pray for the comfort of all beings living in conflict or war countries and ask God's majesty protects His people that they may know Him and be protected by Him.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you. For I am Yahweh your God"" Isaiah :43:2 WEB.
Your petition for forgiveness is just, and we pray for your strength against temptations, but praying directly to God in our sins without Godly sorrow and/or admission of guilt to a sin will not allow for forgiveness from the sin confessed. We must have a contrite heart and Godly sorrow for sins to be forgiven. Remember when we truly desire to rid ourselves of sin we will turn away from sin and have a desire to
."fleefor your lives! Don't look behind you, and don't stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be consumed!" Genesis 19:17 WEB.
No man can serve two masters and we pray that you have a contrite and clean heart in prayer.
"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Do not throw me from your presence, and do not take your Holy Spirit from me." Psalm 51:10, 11 WEB.
