Lord, thank you for loving and protecting me. Praying for God's will for my life. I am still very heartbroken about the breakdown of my marriage. I feel helpless to do anything to save it. Firstly, we want to ensure that you understand the power of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find salvation and our prayers are heard.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved brother/sister who is in urgent need of a breakthrough. You, Lord, know the details of their situation, and You see their heart's cry. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would move powerfully and bring about the change they desperately need. Please bring peace to their heart and mind, knowing that You are working all things together for their good, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to overwhelm them. We declare that You, Lord, are their strength and their shield (Psalm 28:7). We ask that You would surround them with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12) and that You would go before them, preparing the way (Isaiah 45:2).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
