We rejoice with you, Ronnie, as you acknowledge God's goodness and thank Him for your salvation. Glorifying God in all circumstances is a powerful testimony of your faith. The bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
Let's come together in prayer and petition for your requests:
Firstly, as you pursue your academic goals, we pray that God will guide and strengthen you. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it is written, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." We ask God to send helpful people, as you desire, like angels to assist you and give you divine inspiration in your thesis and all academic endeavors. We ask for your doubts and worries to be surrendered to Him, knowing that He cares for you. By waiting upon the Lord, we ask that you will have smooth sailing throughout your schooling and future marriage. We trust that He will enable you to graduate.
Concerning your plea for business success and financial breakthrough, we stand with you in prayer, but we first address an issue in your request: God is greatly concerned with our motivations and the order of importance in our prayers and life. In Matthew 6:25 WEB, God asks us not to worry about what we shall eat, drink, or wear. God wants us to "seek first God's Kingdom, and His righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well". Your concern for debts is noble, as the Bible tells us to "owe no one anything, except to love one another." In James 4:13,14 WEB: Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let us go into this city, spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.". Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow, you are just a vapor that appears and then disappears. Since the desires of our heart often want us to focus on financial gains first, please put God first in all aspects of life, including business. Put all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength into loving and serving Him first. Trust in God to bless the works of your hands and the business according to His perfect will, not just to be the first or the most profitable company. You will be most profitable to God's kingdom. But even if He chooses to let your company be the richest, pray for humility and servant-leadership. In James 3:13 WEB, we are reminded of the difference between worldly wisdom and Godly wisdom: "Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom."
Concerning the success of your family business, the granting of a long-term permit to stay in Canada, and the healing and salvation of your loved ones, including your pets, we pray that God, in His sovereign will, grants all these requests. We are reminded of the importance of seeking God's will in all things. Trust that his plan for you and your family is good. Also, seek the salvation of your family first, above other things. It is a noble cause to pray for their well being and even their pets, but consider and include a prayer for their salvation through Jesus Christ if they are not saved yet. There is no other name given among men whereby we can be saved except through Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Regarding your prayer for unity, forgiveness, and reconciliation among your family, we stand with you, knowing that God is faithful. In Colossians 3:13 WEB, we are told to "bear with one another, and forgive each other, if anyone has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."
We pray for the sick, knowing that God is the ultimate healer. In Psalm 103:3 WEB, we read, "who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases."
Concerning your prayers for the dead, the Bible tells us clearly in Deuteronomy 18:10-11, not to be involved in communicating with the dead, which is what is essentially praying for them. The dead in Christ are already absent from the body and present with the Lord. They are not able to be prayed for, as they are already with God. Those dead, not in Christ, are not saved and therefore, it is useless to pray for them, as God has already given them ample time on earth to be saved through faith in Jesus Christ. God wants everyone to be saved and come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Pray for the lost that they would be saved through faith in Jesus Christ, but do not pray for the dead. Pray for the living who need salvation through Jesus Christ.
As you pray for protection for all people, especially those in conflicts or wars, or from natural disasters, we agree with you, knowing that God is our refuge and strength. Also, know that in the last days, there will be wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, famines, etc. Therefore, pray for the endurance of the saints, and the quick return of our Lord Jesus Christ. God loves everyone, and desires all to come to repentance.
Lastly, as you ask for forgiveness and seek not to fall into temptations, we remind you of the power of God's forgiveness. We pray that you will seek not to succumb to temptations but flee them. We pray that God strengthens you in your weaknesses, which can make you fall into temptation. Jesus will provide a way out, to not succumb to temptation, by his word, the bible, that He left us. 1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB states: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Lord God, we put our trust in Your Holy name. All these we ask, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen.
