Breaking of Familiar Spirits. I broke my household and lost my ###.

I can't stop thinking about my ex-wife. I place her and all the thoughts above the Lord. I need grace from God to help me to put Him first. I need to make Him my first love. I need to break the hold my spirit has to my ex-wife. I'm the one who cheated on her and a year and a half ago I heard a Voice say Stop and Stop Now. I went back to my then-wife and tried to fix everything. I could not fix the trust and she ended up saying she needs a divorce to get away from the bad things that happened. But she would want us to try again. After the divorce things got worse and now we live separately again. Spending less time together and when she sees me it has to be undercover as she does not want her family or friends to know. I run back willingly to her as I hope everything can be fixed but then daily after we are together I get rejected again. Blocked from FB. Last seen and Online taken off on WhatsApp. I'm struggling to move on with my life. I don't want to lose her but lost her. I'm now at a point where I'm losing even our undercover time. My daughter gets mad when me and my ex-wife get together and still connect or show affection. I need to break my heart free from her. I need that Grace to get to know God better. I need to make Him my first Love. Every time I get close to God, it's as if the enemy then makes her reach out to me to go for a drink. Spend time together and then I get hope and forget about God and try to fix things on my own again. Just to have it crushed later that day.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
