We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing as a result of the trauma you endured in the past. We want to help you find freedom and healing in Jesus' name. First, let's address the spiritual warfare aspect of your situation. The Bible tells us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
Jesus came to set the captives free and heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18 WEB). You can find freedom from these lustful thoughts and influences through the power of His name. First, ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God. Nothing else will do. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your beloved daughter who is seeking freedom from the bondage of lust and the effects of past abuse. Father, we ask that You cleanse her heart and mind from any impure thoughts and heal her from the trauma she has experienced.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke and command any spirits of lust, manipulation, helplessness, and victimization to leave her right now. We declare this. We also ask You, Lord, to cleanse her from any ungodly soul ties that may have formed due to her past experiences. Father, We ask in Jesus name for you to sever these ungodly soul ties and make her whole again.
Father, we pray that You will give her a new sense of purity, self-worth, and dignity. Help her to see herself as You see her—a precious daughter, redeemed and made whole by the blood of Jesus Christ and Your free gift of Grace. Help her to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy and to walk in the victory that Jesus has already won for her.
Lord, we ask that You surround her with godly people who will support and encourage her in her walk with You and Your Kingdom. Help her to form healthy, godly spousal relationships that align with Your will and Your Word. We also ask that You give her the strength to resist any temptations and to keep her heart and mind pure. We also ask that you bring forth other Christians to help her stand firm in her faith and to walk in your ways.
Father, we pray that You will guide her steps and lead her to the resources and support she needs to overcome these struggles. We ask that You heal her heart, mind, and soul, and that You give her a new song to sing—a song of victory, redemption, and restoration.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God loves you unconditionally and wants the very best for you. Trust in Him and His Word and doctrine. Stay strong in your faith in Christ and continue to seek Him with all your heart. He is faithful and will bring you through this. Be sure to search the scriptures for yourself and to pray to God by the name of Jesus. Be on guard just as Jesus warned.
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. On some have compassion, making a distinction, and some save, snatching them out of the fire with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh (Jude 1:21-23 WEB).
Stand firm against the devil and his servants. Give them no place to act in your life (Ephesians 4:27 WEB). Allow no place for the lust of your flesh, the lust of your eyes, and the pride of your life (1 John 2:16 WEB). Stay in fellowship and the Word. Stay in the body of believers. Stay close to God and He will stay close to you. He is faithful. He will bring you through this. Do not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ.
Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you (James 4:7-10).
