Let us continue to stand in the gap for Joseph, lifting him up before the throne of grace, just as the writer of Hebrews encourages us, "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16, WEB)
As we intercede for Joseph, let's remind ourselves and him of the promises in God's Word. In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who are brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (WEB) Let's declare this over Joseph, believing that God is indeed near to him in his time of stress and will save him.
Moreover, let's declare the promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls." (WEB) Let's encourage Joseph to come to Jesus, to take His yoke, and to find the rest that only He can provide.
Let us also pray for God's wisdom to guide Joseph through these challenging times. In James 1:5, we read, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (WEB) Let's ask God to grant Joseph wisdom to navigate his situation and to make decisions that honor God.
As we pray, let's also bind the spirit of fear, anxiety, and stress that may be trying to overtake Joseph. In 2 Timothy 1:7, it is written, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (WEB) Let's declare this truth over Joseph, commanding the spirit of fear to depart and the spirit of power, love, and self-control to take its place.
Let us continue to pray fervently, believing that God will answer our prayers according to His will. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." (WEB)
Let's stay united in prayer, encouraging one another, and reminding Joseph of God's unfailing love and faithfulness. In his time of need, let's be his beacon of hope, pointing him to the only One who can truly help - Jesus Christ.
