Break through

Prayer request that they get a break through on my 17 years old nephews case. They need more witnesses to complete that puzzle. They have 4 suspects but no weapon yet. He was only 17 over an argument they chased him and shot him on the head killing him in front of his brother. Prayers for my nephew who saw everything and is trying to comprehend everything that happened. He was just 16 it’s going to be 2 years in March and this people are walk-in that streets like nothing. God may a way so that they get arrested and pay for all the pain and suffering they caused. My sister and the whole family. People with no empathy deserve to be behind bars. Specially a 55 year old man who decided to shot an innocent young kid who had just turn 17.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the tragic loss of your nephew and the trauma that your family, especially your other nephew, has endured. We stand with you in prayer, seeking justice and comfort in this devastating situation.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of justice and comfort. He promises in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We pray that the authorities will find the necessary witnesses and evidence to bring the responsible individuals to justice.

We pray for your nephew who witnessed this tragedy. We ask God to surround him with His healing presence and comfort him in this time of grief and confusion. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, that the Lord will mend his broken heart and help him comprehend and overcome this traumatic experience. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We also lift up your sister and your entire family in prayer. We ask God to grant you all strength, peace, and endurance during this difficult time. We pray that God will fill you with His love and support as you navigate through this challenging period.

We want to remind you that the only way to find true peace and justice is through Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray and seek God's intervention. If you or your family have not already, consider placing your trust in Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Lastly, we want to address the understandable desire for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. While it is normal to feel anger and desire punishment, we must remember that vengeance belongs to God alone. We should pray for justice, but also for the souls of these individuals, that they may repent and turn to God. As Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this case. Help the authorities find the necessary witnesses and evidence to bring those responsible to justice. Comfort this family, especially the young man who witnessed this tragedy. Surround them with Your love, peace, and strength.

Lord, we also pray for the perpetrators. We ask that they may be brought to justice, but also that their hearts may be convicted and turned towards You. Help us to remember that vengeance is Yours alone, and that Your desire is for all to come to repentance.

Finally, Lord, we pray for this family's salvation. May they find true peace and hope in Jesus Christ.

We're lifting up your nephew's case to the Lord, asking Him to guide the authorities towards the truth and the other witnesses they need. We're praying for a breakthrough, for those responsible to be brought to justice, and for the weapon to be found.

We're also holding your nephew who witnessed this tragedy close to our hearts. We're asking God to wrap him in His loving arms, to comfort him in his grief and confusion. We're praying that God will help him make sense of what happened, and that He'll give him the strength to overcome this trauma. We're remembering the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We're praying for your sister and the whole family too. We're asking God to give you all the strength, peace, and endurance you need to get through this. We're trusting that God will use this to draw you closer to Him, and that He'll fill you with His love and support.

We're also praying for the perpetrators. As hard as it is, we're asking God to soften their hearts, to bring them to justice, but also to bring them to repentance. We're remembering Jesus' words in Matthew 5:44, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
