We join with you, Ulyashethan, in petitioning our Heavenly Father for a breakthrough in your family's circumstances. We commend you for recognizing your brothers, sisters, and the entire family lineage. It is our greatest joy in Jesus' name to observe your wanting your children to truly have godly wisdom, knowledge, and understanding from our Lord!
Firstly, we are taught according to scripture If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you then love me, keep my commandments. John 14:14-15.
We need to always include our Lord's name when we pray, as it is only through His name that we will be saved. We read,
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. There is none other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12
This is the Word of God. Let us pray,
Dear Heavenly Father, We come to you in the wonderful name of Jesus. We thank you Lord, that you are a Father to all who seek you and not wanting any man to perish, but come to repentance. We come with a special prayer for Ulyashethan's family. Ulyashethan has requested a breakthrough for their whole family lineage including siblings. Father, we cry out for this miracle. We also pray for Ulyashethan's children for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding from on high. Help and guide these children to worship the one and only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We ask for your blessings upon this family in Jesus' wonderful name, amen.
In this world, there will be trials and the evil one will try to discourage you. That is another reason we need to pray continually. However, in Christ, you have hope and your family has hope. God Almighty certainly can give a break through when it is according to his will. He will guide each family member's steps.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
There isn't anything glorious about a family that does not have souls that worship the Most High God. Therefore, we also pray for undertaking the Great Commission in your life. Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
You should not leave it up to anyone else to teach your children about the Lord. You should teach them yourself the ways of Jesus Christ. The Word of God has many tools to help a parent teach their children. Brenda Rhoden has written a wonderful song called Teach Your Children to Pray. It goes,
Teach your children to pray
So they'll know the way to
Call on Jesus,
Tell them of His love
Sent from heaven above
Call on Jesus.
Teach your children to pray
So they'll know the way to
Call on Jesus,
Have them give their hearts
To the One Who will never depart
And call on Jesus.
Teach your children to pray
So they'll know the way to
Call on Jesus,
Tell them of His love
Sent from heaven above
Call on Jesus.
These lyrics describe what we are talking about and we pray they are an inspiration to you. Listen to what the Word of God says,
But as for you, continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them. From infancy, you have known the sacred writings which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. Every writing inspired by God is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction which is in righteousness, that the person of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:14-17
This clearly shows that prayer is what makes a family. You can never be ashamed of Christ or His teachings. Not only should those in your house pray, but should also not fear to take communion together as a family that worships Jesus. We're instructed to do this till He comes. As often as you do this, you do it in remembrance of Christ and His shed blood and His resurrection. As a family, you should have no shame. The Apostle Paul proclaimed,
For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17
We pray for all those reading that they understand that the family is often the heart of what trusting in the Lord looks like. Spreading the gospel and making disciples is a main responsibility of our commission. We continue to pray for Ulyashethan's family and all others that they continue toward making a difference in God's Kingdom for His glory.
