We stand with you, Oralornel, in lifting up your son before the throne of God. We understand the heavy burden you carry for him, and we trust in the power of prayer to break every chain and renew his mind and life.
Firstly, let's remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a purpose and a plan for your son's life, despite his past circumstances.
We must pray for a renewing of his mind. Romans 12:2 (WEB) tells us, "Donโt be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Pray that God will help him overcome the prison mentality and anxiety, and guide him towards a healthy and productive life.
Moreover, we should pray for his healing. Your son has been through serious health challenges, but we believe in the healing power of Jesus. As it is written in Matthew 9:35 (WEB), "Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people."
Regarding his employment, we trust that God will open the right doors for him. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (WEB) reminds us, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven." God has equipped your son with mechanical skills, and we believe that He will make a way for him to use those skills for His glory.
However, it is crucial for your son to trust God for himself. You have been a faithful intercessor, but ultimately, he needs to have a personal relationship with Jesus. As you mentioned, you can lead him, but you can't make him follow. Our prayers are that the Holy Spirit will draw him closer to God. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) clearly states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Oralornel's son. Lord, we ask that You break the prison mentality that has held him captive. Renew his mind, Lord, and help him to trust in You. Comfort his anxiety and heal his body, Lord. We ask that You open up job opportunities for him, so he can use his skills for Your glory. Draw him closer to You, Lord, and help him to establish a strong, personal relationship with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay steadfast in prayer, Oralornel. God hears your cries and knows your heart. Trust in Him, for there is nothing too hard for our God.
