Aethell, we understand your desire to break free from the bondage of poverty, and we stand with you in prayer and counsel. Let's turn to the Word of God for guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, it's crucial to recognize that our battles are not merely against physical forces, but spiritual ones. As Ephesians 6:12 WEB states, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
To break these bondages, we must first ensure we are in right standing with God. This means accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As Jesus says in John 14:6 WEB, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not done so, we encourage you to take this step of faith.
Next, we must resist the devil and his schemes. James 4:7 WEB tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This resistance includes renouncing any known sins, including any involvement in the occult or idolatry, which can open doors to spiritual bondage.
Moreover, we should replace negative thoughts and words with positive confessions based on God's Word. Romans 12:2 WEB encourages us to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Instead of speaking poverty, speak the promises of God concerning provision and abundance.
Let us pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up Aethell. We renounce any known or unknown sins that may have opened the door to poverty and bondage. We resist the devil and command every spirit of poverty to leave, in Jesus' name. We claim Your promises of provision and abundance, as written in Philippians 4:19 WEB, 'My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.' Transform Aethell's mind and circumstances, according to Your good and perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to pray and declare God's Word over your life. Trust in His timing and goodness. God is faithful, and He wants you to prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2 WEB).
