We understand your desire to be free from soul ties, which are ungodly attachments to other people that can form through sinful or unhealthy relationships. These can hinder your walk with Christ and open doors to spiritual bondage. We must first address that true freedom comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ. If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, it is crucial to know His name is the only name by which we can be saved. You would need to confess your sins to Him, acknowledge you are a sinner, and believe in Jesus Christ.
To break soul ties, we must first repent of the sins that may have caused them. This could be a sexual sin such as fornication, adultery, and a sin of lust. It could also be emotional dependencies, unforgiveness, or idolatry. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who desires to be free from soul ties. We confess and repent of any sins that may have led to these ungodly attachments. We ask for your forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of Jesus.
We now renounce and break every soul tie formed with anyone, in the name of Jesus Christ. We command every spirit that may have gained access through these soul ties to leave, and we declare that they will not form again. We proclaim freedom and wholeness in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask that you would fill this person with your Holy Spirit, that they may live a life pleasing to you, free from all ungodly attachments. We pray for wisdom and discernment as they move forward, that they may avoid forming any new soul ties. We ask for godly spouses and marriages that honor you, Lord.
We also pray for a hedge of protection around this person, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. (Remember it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that God has raised Him from the dead)
We encourage you to walk in purity and holiness, avoiding any situation that could lead to the formation of new soul ties. Remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB), and you should honor God with your body.
Stand firm in your faith, and resist the devil, knowing that he flees when you resist his temptations (James 4:7 WEB). Always remember that you should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Keep your focus on Jesus, and he will guide you in the path of righteousness. We encourage you to use the word of God as your spiritual sword and speak it out loud to rebuke the enemy and his advances. Praise God for freedom by the blood of Jesus Christ.
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult is the way that leads to life! There are few who find it." (Matthew 7:13-14 WEB)
We will be praying for you, and we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
