Boy's Parents Went to Jail Again
A friend was getting out of the shower Saturday night.
Police banged on her door.
They had the two year old son of a neighbor.
His parents were going to jail.
The father had been drinking for days.
He passed out and fell down on the boy.
The boy cried.
Those near by called the police.
The mother came and was pulling the father off the boy when the police arrived.
It looked like a fight had been happening.
There has been a long history of domestic violence with this couple.
So both were taken to jail.
My friend came to me to borrow money to bond out the mother.
The mother has a job as a manager of a fast food restaurant.
She has been warned that she will be fired if she cannot do her duties due to such matters.
Her bond was cheap.
But his is costly due to so many previous arrests.
He has refused to seek employment but has lived off his wife.
This is his third wife.
He has several other children from the other wives.
He cannot visit them due to his troubled past.
There is a report that he is wanted in an out of state case.
He may need to serve more than ten years there.
That would allow this son to grow up without the drunk father
