Boyfriend

[Waldoth]

Please pray for my relationship. My boyfriend is currently going through some health issues and as a result completely shut down and pushed me away. I pray that he finds it in his soul that he needs me and it’s himself that he cannot emotionally support, not I. He is my heart and soul and I pray he comes back to me. I was put in this earth for many reasons but one of the main reasons is to be with him.
Please, Heavenly Father, let me have my sweet boyfriend back.

Waldoth, we understand your deep concern for your boyfriend and your desire to support him through his health issues. We're here to pray with you and guide you in the light of Scripture.

Firstly, we want to address that the term "boyfriend" in the context of your request implies a relationship outside of marriage. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and that marriage is to be held in honor among all (Hebrews 13:4). While you care deeply for this person, we encourage you to consider the biblical perspective on relationships, which is that they should be aiming towards a godly marriage.

We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18) and that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Waldoth and her companion. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon him, that You would restore his health and give him strength. We also pray for Waldoth, that You would grant her wisdom and discernment in this relationship. Help her to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else.

Lord, if this relationship is not in alignment with Your will, we ask that You would reveal this to Waldoth and give her the strength to follow Your leading. If it is Your will for them to be together, we ask that You would guide them towards a godly and holy union in marriage.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Waldoth, we encourage you to seek God's will in this situation. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We're here for you, Waldoth, and we're praying for you.
