Boyfriend Reconciliation

Me and my bf have been dating for two years, we are both young and going through a different time with our parents. Last year me and him broke up because our relationship wasn’t working but a few months later we decided to try things again and make an effort to make everything work. As of now I haven’t heard from my boyfriend for around 4 days and our two year anniversary is coming in 5 days and all I am asking in this prayer is to let him loose his fear to talk to his mom so our relationship can work out and also hear from him since I haven’t talked to him. Please pray for me I really want our parents to allow us to be together and for him to love like before. Pls god allow to have a second chance in this love story.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God's desire is for us to be in relationships that honor and glorify Him. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB, it's written, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" As young believers, it's crucial to seek God's will in your relationship and ensure that both of you are striving to live according to His principles.

Regarding your boyfriend's fear to talk to his mom, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and sovereignty. In Philippians 4:6-7, WEB, it says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Instead of focusing on the fear, trust that God is working in his heart and in your situation.

However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it's only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. In John 14:6, WEB, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We encourage you to put your trust in Him and pray in Jesus' name.

As for your desire to rekindle the love between you two, remember that true love is patient and kind. It's not selfish nor does it demand its own way. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, WEB) Instead of focusing on getting love from him, try to show unconditional love like Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Timenion's relationship with her boyfriend. Lord Jesus, we ask that You reveal Yourself to both of them and help them to seek Your will for their lives. We pray that You'll guide their steps and grant them the wisdom to discern Your plans for their relationship. We ask that You'll help Timenion to trust in Your timing and to show unconditional love like You do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
